I had the small double room, it was modern and brand-new. All the stuff was very attentive and helpful, resolved my issues. The venue's position was remote.

The hotel had a remote location outside right across the valley. The superior queen room had basic facilities you need, an electric kettle, a mini fridge bar and central heating.

I recently celebrated my 45th Wedding Anniversary at this fabulous venue. The room in the annexe was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and thoughtful touches. I enjoyed the selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolate, as well as the minibar and luxurious bathrobes. The view from the balcony would have been breathtaking if the weather had cooperated. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the room was dog friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the five-course dinner with personalized menus and dessert plates was a memorable experience. The breakfast choices were impressive as well. I can't wait to return in better weather and explore the stunning gardens with a glass of Champagne. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect anniversary celebration.

Reasonable value, excellent food particularly breakfast, and generally a very high standard..
.. weakened by some lack of attention to minor details. [for example we ran out of loo paper, and faulty bulbs in room were not replaced after being reported]. Internet provision exists in the main hotel and lounge, but not the annexe rooms: this is exactly the wrong way round if you want to support holiday planning in the bedrooms and not have the lounge/library filled with desparate laptop users]

The setting the food and the way we were treated . we only stayed one night but it was very relaxing and the food was wonderful . The staff were very attentive . Well recommended , wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was being painted on the outside but when we checked in we were automatically upgraded to a beautiful room away from it , excellent service .
Nothing , but it is not a poor man's hotel !!!
